Learn the Basics of Machine Sewing

Start sewing with our Fabric Mini Christmas Stocking Class, a Level 1 workshop designed for anyone interested in learning to complete a simple sewing project, regardless of experience.

This 3-hour class will teach you the basics of sewing on a machine, all materials are included, and by the end of the class, you’ll take home your very own handmade Christmas stocking.

In this class, you will learn:

• How to thread a sewing machine

• How to wind a bobbin

• Straight and zigzag stitches

• How to work with cotton and fleece fabric
  

By the end of this session, you’ll have completed a fabric Christmas stocking and developed the confidence to explore more intricate sewing projects on your own.

Included in this class:

Fleece fabric, cotton fabric, thread, pattern and all tools.
Participants will have the option to purchase additional supplies in their preferred colors if they wish.

Beverages will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring a box lunch to enjoy during the session.
